Like, you can just have a character be gay or trans or anything else and that's it. It's not even needed to announce they're that. There's a reason good storytelling uses "show, not tell".

Look at Blitzo. From the get-go we knew he has slept or sleeps with Stolas yet we also find later he has the fantasy of being with both Moxie and Millie. We NEVER get a direct "He's Bi/Pan" word or mention at all but we all get that he is indeed at a very basic level, at least a Bi. And we know it because they shows us that. And you don't see anyone asking if the character is that all.
