Great potato.

I don't really know what else to say, I just wanted to tell you what an excellent potato that is.

Let me recommend you to use Clip Studio Paint if you aren't using it already, trust me, it's probably the best tool for independant artists online.

Thanks! I'm not sure if that is a result of the mouse, or just the way I draw, but if I do move to a tablet, I'll try and retain that style if I can. I think the main problem I have drawing with the mouse though, is that it makes me very slow (either that or the outdated desktop I am using), and I would like to be able to draw more in less time.

Hmm… I'll check it out. The software I am using right now (Krita) seem pretty solid too, but I need to learn how to use more of its functionalities. That and my outdated hardware struggles to run it… so, hopefully Clip Studio Paint is less resource-intensive.

Yo, King. Since you are here, can you give us some of that aboriginal art that you know how to make? It's been too long since I last saw some of it.

Can do if I have the time; as it's a very busy time of the year for me and I need to be in the right mood for it.

If I don't do any for a while, you'll probably see some come summer when I go out to the countryside and sketch random things I see.

No, i use oil paint, takes an eternity to dry but gives some really smooth colour transitions

I've got a bit of a strange request

Can be anything, though I've never actually tried drawing any character that isn't humanoid

I don't know how long it's gonna take since I'm also kind of working on my thesis and might have to drop this for that occasionally, but I'll be damn sure to finish them.

Also, somewhat unrelated question: I posted this picture to my Newgrounds account. If I want to post it to the Deltarune gallery as well (assuming that's allowed here), do I mark it as "Original Content" because I made it, or do I have to add the source because it's already on another website?

You can tag it as “Original Content” since you made the image yourself, but I’m sure it’s also fine if you link it to Newgrounds as well. If it somehow turns out to be illegal to do that on this site, you’d be instantly forgiven anyway because of you making a reference to Fesh Pince of Blair.

It's perfectly fine to upload your own stuff as OC here.

Almost all of the artist's here do that, so you'll be absolutely ok if that's what you want to do.

Make sure you do your thesis first though, as that's definitely the most important thing.

As a person who successfully passed university, I know it's possible to achieve months-long projects three days before the deadline, but it is certainly not ideal.

Guess who just took his first step into drawing actual backgrounds, baby.

I tried to match the styles of the background and the character, but it kinda looked horrible, so I left it like this. I'll keep working on that though.

Anyways: one Asirpa, fresh from the oven.

I actually wanted to draw an action pose with her but every time I try to picture one that fur mantle keeps getting in the way, I have no idea why--it's just there, in the foreground, blocking the view. Also I think front-facing heads might be my Achilles' heel; alongside hands.

I shall get started on that Sir Daniel drawing

as soon as I come up with a good composition

Thanks for granting my request. I agree with quiet_boy; you do a good job at colouring. Blue and purple makes for a pretty combination, and I love how you made the aurora borealis look. You also make Asirpa stand out easier from the background by highlighting the embroidery on her headband and her eyes.

Speaking of eyes, there are a couple of things I'd like to give feedback on. The space between the eyes is a tad too big; ideally, the space should be the same length as one eye. I feel the constricted pupils make Asirpa a little more unsettling than she usually is, so I'd suggest the pupils be more dilated.

Overall, you did a good job.

Thanks for the input. I actually did try putting the eyes closer together, but that made the space between the eyes and the ears a bit too big in turn--I guess I made the head too wide after all, but this was after I had finished all the colouring, so fixing the shape of the head at the point would've been… a pain. So I went with what I think is the lesser of two evils.

I've been dwelling on posting a short animation I did some months ago, but I'm paranoid over it breaking content guidelines. There's no sexually explicit content involved per se, and the character involved isn't acting in a suggestive manner, but said character is a nude slimegirl bobbing back and forth with plenty jiggle physics going on. Granted, she is simply doing an idle fighting pose, but I can't be too sure if the mods will give me a pass.

The best thing to do would be to DM a mod with a link to the work so they can judge it themselves.

I do it when I want to upload something that is on the borderline and they usually get back to me in a few days.

By the sound of it, you should be alright as long as there are no nipples, but definitely check with a mod first.

I contacted one of the mods about the animation, who then asked on the mod chat to be sure. They said no, unfortunately. Judging by some of the slime girl posts in the Monster Girl gallery, though, I think I'm in the clear if I post a frame or two of the animation instead.

The second one is pretty cute, I've never seen chubby slime girls, tbh, they are always just tiddy monsters, so it's pretty creative that you did that.

Now that you mention it, while I admittedly don't look up slime girl art that often, I don't think I can recall seeing a chubby slime girl either. I just drew mine like this because I thought it fit her bubbly personality.

So that action pose thing…didn't quite work out. I'm not going to make excuses, but I am going to say that I don't know how to draw bones.

This actually started out pretty well, but when I started colouring it I realised I might have strayed too far from the original character design, so I just went the ol' monochrome route.

Points to anyone that can figure out who this is.
