Hey guys, just trying to figure out who would be willing to read Notes From Underground with me over the next couple months. We would keep a pretty slow pace and the book is only ~120 pages. It's available on gutenberg for free and we can have a fun discussion about the themes and characters in the book?

I have an old school Nook that steadily collects dust.
Like to put it to some use.

To be reasonable this book club should really have a page limit. (feel me)

Also, any ideas of a sharable format? Like the best way for us to share books or e-books?

I would recommend the epub format, is much versatile to read than pdf. And is a good combo with the program Calibre.

If you were to make a book club on children's books (via-PBS.ORG<---hiswebsite) I would join.

Glad to see that people are warming up to the idea! I will get to work on the thread and I hope that if anyone thinks there will be other people who will be interested please let them know.

I agree completely that pace will be important, for the first book (and I do pick the first book, sorry folks, will democratize if this catches on) it is only ~100 pages long and so we will probably read a bit more than a chapter or two a week. I'll do my homework as to making an explicit schedule for each week which will leave time for discussion.

Reminder that manga isn't literature.
