Two consecutive crashes with the last one lasting over 24 hours. User rankings are completely reset, voted images and posts from the last couple of days prior to the most recent crash took a nosedive in the total amount, some uploaded images seemed to have disappeared from the site entirely and others even incorrectly redirect to completely unrelated ones, amongst other broken things I have yet to discover.

I still have a tab open of the trending page before the site went down and here's what it looked like:

If you were to attempt to open that first Mori Calliope image on the top left into another tab you get redirected to one of Reddit Moments latest uploads instead:

Try to open the Ankha image at the bottom and you get greeted with a blank screen:

BTW I was the one who uploaded that specific Ankha image, also the crossover one of Jenny and Gardevoir. Both are gone now, aswell as everything I uploaded recently after the first batch of INTERNET YAMERO Dance gifs I shared onto the site.

This is just a small example of notable broken things that others may not have noticed given the the more readily obvious ranking reset.

We suffered data loss during the outage so that's what you're noticing right now.

If images are redirecting it's because the number IDs are being reused for images that were uploaded after the site came back.

Thanks for the fast response. But what caused the outage to begin with? I'm assuming you staff might have at least some ideas as to why.

I'm also noticing that the website is responding slower than usual on my end. Anything about that?

I'm regenerating some of them right now and eventually all of them should be restored.
