A clip of pop star Billie Eilish whispering to her friend and saying, "There's some, like, TikTokers here …" at the 2024 People's Choice Awards has gathered attention online, with many commending the singer for saying the "quiet part" about recent award ceremonies out loud.
The clip, which shows Eilish wearing a pair of clear spectacles while speaking to a blonde woman seated at her table, was taken by many online as a snide remark against the influx of internet celebrities at establishment award ceremonies.

Many internet users shared clips of influencers asking their favorite actors for photos and selfies as evidence that internet celebrities should not be allowed at mainstream award ceremonies, but one TikToker delivered a retort for those that think he should be barred from entry at events he is invited to.

Bryce Hall, a former member of doomed celebrity content team Hype House, posted a video responding to Billie Eilish's recent comment, saying that he was in fact invited to the Awards ceremony by People's Choice and that he was disappointed to hear such a statement from someone he "stanned."

Hall went on to say, "And now I don’t think I can Renegade to any of your songs anymore."
