The Ringo Starr Biopic Movie refers to a reported upcoming biopic on The Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, part of four biopics on each Beatles member, humorously dubbed by some the "Beatles Cinematic Universe." Discourse and memes about the "Ringo movie" surfaced on Twitter / X in February 2024, following the announcement that the Beatles biopics would release in theaters in 2027. Many joked about how the "Ringo biopic" would be the funniest and most unserious film, playing on the stereotype that he was the most untalented Beatle.
History
On February 20th, 2024, Deadline[1] published an article, relaying that "Sony Pictures Entertainment and Oscar-winning filmmaker Sam Mendes" were set to make four biopics covering each member of The Beatles, releasing in theaters in 2027. The studio, Neal Street Productions, had confirmed the deal. Neal Street Productions partner Pippa Harris told Deadline, "We intend this to be a uniquely thrilling, and epic cinematic experience: four films, told from four different perspectives which tell a single story about the most celebrated band of all time."
On February 20th, 2024, the X[2] account @DiscussingFilm tweeted about Deadline's article, gaining over 8.8 million views and 25,000 likes in less than a day (shown below). The X[6] account @FilmUpdates also posted about Deadline's article on February 20th, gaining over 2.1 million views and 3,900 likes during the same timeframe.

After the viral tweet shared by @DiscussingFilm, many X users posted reactions and memes to the news, centering on the idea of a Ringo Starr biopic. For instance, the earliest known post was a reply shared by X[3] user @csmfiction on February 20th, 2024, reading, "Ringo movie about to go crazy," gaining over 1,400 likes in six hours (shown below, left).
