Controversial Canadian YouTuber Twomad, known for popularizing memes such as 21st Century Humor and Goodnight Girl, I'll See You Tomorrow, as well as more recently facing allegations of sexual assault and stalking, has reportedly been found dead in his Los Angeles home after a welfare check-in was called in.
Muudea Sedik, better known by his handle Twomad, hadn't been heard from for several days before a concerned party called LAPD for a check, TMZ reports.
A source also reported that drug paraphernalia was discovered at the scene and that the death was being investigated as a possible overdose.
Shortly following the news of Twomad's death, YouTuber Jameskii made a post claiming that Twomad "had tried to murder him" multiple times and had been planning to take out innocent lives by driving while under influence of drugs.
Twomad amassed a following of over 2 million followers on his YouTube during the peak period of his popularity in the late 2010s.
Recently his career as a social media personality had stagnated after sexual assault allegations were put against the YouTuber in mid-2023, with Twomad denying the allegations and acting erratic on social media since.
Twomad was well-known for helping popularize the type of humor commonly referred to as "21st Century Humor" and "Zoomer Humor" — rapid-fire montages paired with abundant sound effects such as Baba Booey.
In 2022, Twomad notably took part in a viral photoshoot with internet personality Belle Delphine, resulting in another resurgence of virality.
